The apartment is dedicated to the French typographer Claude Garamond, who lived between the 15th and 16th century, and the famous fonts invented by him. His fame is connected to the original version of the “rounded” characters, which very soon replaced the gothic characters used at that time.
The apartment measuring around 45 sq m is situated on the first floor of the building, apt. number 3. It consists of a living room with open plan kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom, and overlooks Via Landolina.
Among other things, you’ll find an Adler Tippa typewriter of the early sixties.
